There continues to be a debate between those who believe this world to be a dream: one that is to be transcended and labeled as illusory. And with those who find God, right here right now, living life embedded in the suffering and joys of the world. I would like to share my perspective.
The first half up the mountain is the realization that God is pure love, and all else is an illusion. The second half is realizing that God is also the illusion.
We then realize Him as the totality of His Being, both as absolute truth and relative truth.
The dream is alive, and we must have compassion for those who see and live the dream as real and suffer therein. It matters not to the dreamer if it is a dream or not. Because for the dreamer his suffering is real, and for this we must serve humanity. Absolute truth and relative truth are both true from two perspectives. Both are two sides of the same coin.
Once the word “God” becomes synonymous with “Love” as the totality of Him, neither of these distinctions polarize the individual’s consciousness.
